it was definitely 5 stars for us. we would love to go back, no complaints. actually, free wi fi was a pleasant addition. moke lake was easily accessible within a 10-minute stroll.

Quality cuisine. A view of the lake from our window. The staff of matakauri lodge went out of their way to make our stay comfortable!
